Jamie Foxx stopped at Tonight Show with Jimmy Fascist Thursday night, graciously making the show much more watchable than usual. In addition to the traditional couch conversation, Foxx also took on the famous hair-raising for the inaugural edition of the Musical Genre Challenge.

Foxx was challenged with a Broadway musical version of “Who Let the Dogs Out” by Baha Men and an opera version of “Bitch Better Have My Money” by Rihanna. Foxx even stepped in with help on the 1960s rock version of Migos’ “Bad and Boujee”.

During her sofa parties Tonight show appearance, Foxx discussed the time he apparently roasted Mike Tyson to his face and the excitement he feels for his new Fox series. Defeat Shazam:

“This is crazy, man,” Foxx told Fallon of Defeat Shazam, in which contestants with the most musical knowledge are challenged to beat Shazam. “We’ve been trying to move this forward for about two and a half, three years.”

In a statement announcing the series in January, executive producer Mark Burnett (The voice, Survivor) touted Foxx’s natural talent for such a spectacle. “Jamie is a quadruple and creative genius,” said Burnett. “He’s an incredible actor, comedian, singer and dancer. Plus, his musical knowledge is so great that he could probably… BEAT SHAZAM.”
