The latest album, titled “Bitter Sweet”, can be searched under AG Twanger on Spotify, etc. It includes 12 new tracks, mostly love songs and some sad songs as well. “Life can be bittersweet sometimes and I think this new album captures those feelings,” said AG Twanger. Songwriting comes naturally for AG who has over 100 songs in their catalog. AG released two more original albums with his band. The album “The Lucky One”, released last year, is also on Spotify and other streaming services under the name “Mystic Twangers”. These albums and Mystic Twangers Vol. 1 can be streamed on the MysticTwangers.com website which also includes a list of their upcoming shows.
“I love writing music. My inspiration comes from situations that happen in my own life as well as in the lives of my friends, acquaintances and of course, things that happen in the world,” said AG Twanger. AG has been playing and writing music for a long time. He started out as a back-up musician supporting other musical artists and did a few tours along the way. His first instrument is the bass but in the band Mystic Twanger he plays guitar, sings and writes all the songs. “I fell in love with music when I saw The Beatles’ first live concert in New York as a kid. I knew then I wanted to play music…and I’m happy to say I did. been doing since. I feel very lucky to have music in my life. It’s a real gift. Right now I’m currently working on my 4e album and it should be finished by the end of the year. This new one will consist of all upbeat songs with a positive message. “I have to say I think we all need it right now,” Twanger said.
AG Twanger and Mystic Twanger’s songs are available to stream on Spotify, most other streaming services, and on their website, MysticTwangers.com. The CDs will be available on August 18e at Music on the Lawn in Wellsville.
